We are in contact with our industry partners ATCM (Association of Town and City Management) and IPM (Institute of Place Management) to lobby and request that government put in place further immediate support for high street businesses to deal with the impact of the virus. We will share information on how to claim for existing support and any new measures announced as we receive confirmation from government.

Shrewsbury BID are urgently developing a new e-commerce platform which will allow Shrewsbury businesses, including those who may not currently trade online, to sell gift vouchers and assist with cash flow. Alongside the launch of this platform, we will carry out a high-profile local campaign and will share further details on this shortly.

We also want to reassure businesses that with our partners we are planning major marketing interventions to help Shrewsbury recover and thrive following the flooding and coronavirus.

If you have any questions, suggestions or require further support please email members@shrewsburybid.co.uk or call 07763 737413.
