Shrewsbury BID successfully secured UK Shared Prosperity Funding to kick off our BID3 Work in Shrewsbury project area. The funding, from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) via Shropshire Council, saw an additional £320,000 awarded to Shrewsbury BID to deliver the programme between October 2023 and March 2025, including:

  • Work in Shrewsbury Brand, Website & Regional Campaign
  • Work in Shrewsbury Masterclass and Event Programme
  • Future Shrewsbury Grant Programme
  • Evolving Business Cohort and Grant Programme
  • Work in Shrewsbury Data Hub
  • Work in Shrewsbury Gigabit Connectivity Project

The UK Shared Prosperity Fund provides £2.6 billion of funding for local investment by March 2025. The Fund aims to improve pride in place and increase life chances across the UK investing in communities and place, supporting local business, and people and skills.
