Shrewsbury BID member businesses are entitled to up to 4 dedicated posts per calendar year, with a minimum of 4 weeks between posts. These can cover everything from a general push to new products or menu launches, significant milestones etc. Our social media is scheduled 2-3 weeks in advance, so the sooner you get in touch the sooner we can get a post scheduled, even if it’s a placeholder with content sent over at a later date.
Throughout the year we carry out paid advertising campaigns targeting local, regional and national audiences to help raise the profile of Shrewsbury and attract people to the town.
As part of the Original Shrewsbury digital platform, our Instagram gives new businesses the opportunity to ‘take over’ our account, allowing them to take advantage of a large platform and introduce themselves to Shrewsbury. During 2022 takeovers had an average of 17,000 reach, 400 engagements and grew the participant’s followers by 8% on average.
