Shrewsbury Ambassadors
Promoting & Animating

The Original Shrewsbury Ambassadors provide visitors to Shrewsbury with a warm welcome and a wide range of information during weekends and bank holidays throughout the summer months. The purpose if the Ambassador programme is to improve the visitor experience, encourage repeat visits and increase dwell (and therefore spend) time. The Ambassadors are volunteers who have an interest and passion for the town, who are provided with free training to understand the purpose of the programme and supported by Lead Ambassadors with a wealth of knowledge and experience.

The Ambassador project is part-funded by Shrewsbury Tourism Association and managed by Shrewsbury BID.
